Pinar del Rio is located on the west side of the island of Cuba. The province contains one of Cuba's three main mountain ranges, the Cordillera de Guaniguanico, divided into the easterly Sierra del Rosario and the westerly Sierra de los Organos. San Cristóbal is a municipality and city in the Pinar del Río Province of Cuba.
